First Ever Liberal Democrat South Central President Elected

The Liberal Democrats elected David Rendel, West Berkshire's LD Parliamentary Spokesperson, as their first Regional President, at the Party's South Central Regional conference in Milton Keynes on Saturday. "It is of course a huge honour to be chosen by my colleagues in the South Central Region as their first ever President", said Mr Rendel. "This new position has been instituted following a change to our original constitution which was made last year. I am delighted to be chosen for the post and look forward to continuing my campaigning work for the party both in West Berkshire and across the region."
